Modelling and Control Methods in Path Tracking Control for Autonomous Agricultural Vehicles: A Review of State of the Art and Challenges

This paper provides a review of path-tracking strategies used in autonomous agricultural vehicles, mainly from two aspects: vehicle model construction and the development improvement algorithms. Vehicle models are grouped into numerous types based on structural characteristics working conditions, including wheeled tractors, tracked rice transplanters, high clearance sprays, robots, tractor–trailers, etc. The application control methods summarized different scenes machinery. study explores each these terms accuracy, stability, robustness, disadvantages/advantages. main challenges field path tracking defined, future research directions offered critical reviews. aims to provide reference for determining which controllers use an vehicle.
